Preparations for Child Birth

This workshop will cover:
• Pathway from KH ER to Preferred Hospital
• Birth Plan
• Preparation before Labor
• True Labor Pain and stages of labor
• Pain Reliever during labor
• Exercises during labor
• Non pharmacological pain relief during Labor
• Companion of choice with them during labor and birth
• Skin to skin contact & early initiation of Breastfeeding
• Rooming in on 24hour basis
New Born and Infant Care
October 17| 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
This workshop will cover:
• Proper Newborn Care
• Cord Care
• Immediate skin to skin
• New born of Immunization
• Bathing
• Feeding
• Neonatal jaundice
• Management of Excessive weight loss in newborn
Safe Sleep Practices

This workshop will cover:
• Helping Hand
• The ABC's of Safe Sleep
• Make a Safe Place to Sleep
