Reopening plan for KAUST Security Gate #3

Government Affairs would like to inform the KAUST community that the reopening plan for KAUST Security Gate #3 will resume gradually over two phases effective June 7, 2020.


Phase 1

Starts on Sunday, June 7, 2020. Operation timings are from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  
Access will be limited to: 
  • Workforce who arrive at the gate by bus
  • Contractors
  • Trucks and heavy vehicles
  • Food suppliers

Phase 2 

Starts on Sunday, June 21, 2020. Operation timings are from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Access will be limited to: 
  • The categories mentioned in Phase 1 
  • KAUST Staff

Please note: All drivers and passengers must adhere to the Keep KAUST safe guidelines and must wear face coverings. They must also abide by all physical distancing guidelines inside the vehicle they use once on campus grounds.

Buses are limited to 50% occupancy.
