The number of positive cases identified on campus remains at 15. We keep in touch with and monitor all our previously discharged cases and we wish them well.
Hygiene guidelines for personal sales or exchange of items
To minimize the spread of COVID-19, personal sales and exchange of goods within the KAUST community is generally discouraged. However, for necessary transactions (items not available in KAUST stores, final-exit sales, donations, etc.), Health, Safety & Environment have issued
guidelines that
should be observed to reduce the possibility of viral transmission.These guidelines are applicable to situations of personal sale transactions or exchange of items between different households within KAUST including:
- Sales and giveaways arranged through KAUST For Sale Facebook page and similar
- Sales and giveaways within KAUST pregnant and new parent community
- Borrowing/lending items between different KAUST households
