March 29 COVID-19 advisory

29 March, 2020

The CMT and the EOC established in response to the COVID-19 crisis continue to take action and wish to provide the following updates.

The current number of positive cases identified on campus remains at 7. All KAUST patients are being well taken care of and we are keeping in touch with them and monitoring their progress. We are currently working on bringing the community a dashboard of information to follow the evolution of the situation.

These are the items that we wish to update you on today.

New curfew time from 3:00 p.m.

In line with similar directives put in place in the Kingdom, the curfew time has been changed to 3:00 p.m. Therefore, you must stay at home from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. the next day. Please consider this curfew in place until further notice. It is vital that KAUST residents strictly observe this curfew, which is aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19, by staying home.

For more information about the curfew, please refer to the previous announcement published on The LENS.
