Both the CMT and the EOC established for the current crisis have been very active in the last 24 hours and we feel it is important to update you on the latest developments.
Tamimi
Tamimi opening hours are now 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. until further notice. Up to 35 shoppers are allowed into the store at any one time. Tamimi online orders are also being processed.
To work through the backlog of orders the next available slots for delivery are now Sunday. If you have placed an order that is delayed, you will be called to check that you still want your order completed.
Online payment issues have now been resolved to speed payment processing.
The small Tamimi Express location in Discovery Square remains open and will open from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. starting tomorrow, March 26. Stocks of basic items such as milk, bread, and eggs have been increased.
Greens green grocer close to Harbor Library is also open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day.
Social distancing
With tighter controls (curfews) being put in place across the kingdom, it is vital that KAUST residents strictly observe our directives, which are aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19. People should be STAYING HOME and following all directives including:
- Stay with your family only
- Essential travel only within campus for food and medical appointments
- Max group size of 2 outdoors for exercise
- Quarantine upon return to campus
