KAUST cases

The total number of cases of COVID-19 identified at KAUST remains at 16. All of the positive cases have been discharged upon completion of the MOH testing requirements. The last positive case was 19 days ago.

New curfew arrangements in Jeddah

New curfew timing and other restrictions in Jeddah come into force today. The KC3 is monitoring the situation.
We are maintaining our current status at KAUST. Please continue to follow the Keep KAUST Safe guidelines, these will help to reduce the transmission of the virus and to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone in KAUST. 

Leaving and returning to campus

Anyone planning to leave KAUST must inform the CoronavirusTaskforce@kaust.edu.sa before leaving. Unless you are leaving for a medical reason or emergency, we strongly recommend that residents do not leave KAUST at this time.
Those wanting to return to KAUST must contact coronavirustaskforce@kaust.edu.sa at least 7 days before they propose to return. Due to our capacity to support people in quarantine, it is not guaranteed that permission to return will be given.

Do not travel to KAUST without permission to return. Quarantine is currently a minimim of 14 days for all residents entering KAUST.

Don't forget your face coverings at home

Get in the habit of carrying your face coverings at all times, as it is mandatory to enter Tamimi, Starbucks and other retailers

Tip: Put it in your backpack, or in the glove box of your car, or simply wear it before you leave your house.  

Face coverings help minimize the spread of COVID-19 combined with other preventive measures.
