Following community feedback and review, the KAUST Medical Board approved an investment for a state-of-the-art mammography machine. Capable of advanced imaging and 3-D reconstruction, it provides enhanced diagnosis and early detection of breast cancer.

This is an important step towards improving the preventive and diagnostic services offered at KAUST Health, while decreasing the number of procedures requiring travel to Jeddah.

We are proud to be the first in the Kingdom to acquire this caliber of mammography equipment and, with the service provided by our partners from Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital (DSFH), we will continue to strive to offer the best level of care to the KAUST community.
