Dear KAUST Community,

We wish to inform you that we now have two confirmed cases of COVID-19 on KAUST campus. The cases have been confirmed positive by the Ministry of Health (MoH) who we are working closely with in the management of this development.

The two confirmed cases have been in quarantine for a period of 14 days and we are now instigating a thorough tracing process, in line with MoH guidelines.

We will follow shortly with more information regarding this development, but in the meantime, we urge you to adhere to all of the guidelines and requirements we have communicated to you as part of the response to COVID-19. Strictly observe social distancing, wash hands regularly and thoroughly, and work from home unless absolutely necessary.

The changes in community function and workplace procedures have all been a part of our orchestrated public safety response, and we will continue to communicate with you as these guidelines are advanced.
