Overview
The Saudi Government is now requiring all people who have been in or through Italy, Republic of Korea, Egypt and Lebanon during the last 14-days to enter quarantine. This is to support the government’s COVID-19 response and mitigation effort.

Have you traveled to or through Italy, Egypt, Lebanon, or the Republic of Korea since February 22?
The Republic of Korea has been on the high-risk list since February 11, however, there may be people in the community who have traveled from Italy, Egypt, and Lebanon who will now be required to enter quarantine.
If you answered yes to the above:
- If you live at KAUST: You and your housemates (family, roommates, domestic helps, visitors) must return to your home immediately. Please take a direct route home and when you get there, call KAUST Health at 012-808-4444 for instructions and support.
- If you live outside KAUST: You must immediately leave KAUST, and according to Saudi Government regulation, quarantine at your home, along with your housemates.
Your quarantine period will last until you have been out of the listed country for 14-days.
