School Health

KAUST Health employs four highly qualified nurses specifically to work at the KAUST School (TKS) in the School Health Offices. All nurses are registered by the Saudi Council and work closely with clinic and school staff to provide quality care to TKS students. The primary role of the school nurses is to provide care for students who become ill or injured during the school day. The nurses also maintain confidential school health records, immunization records, and develop plans for TKS students with complex health needs. The school nurses are further supported by the school health coordinator who oversees health care delivery and promotion at TKS. The health office also performs hearing, vision, growth, and scoliosis screening for specific grade levels.
